Company founder
In 2005, the Israeli government decided to formalize the foreign worker sector in the country, for which purpose an action report was written by Professor Einhorn. There was talk of granting a special license to a limited number of corporations that would be established for this purpose, with the Israeli government rigorously examining and verifying the corporation's managers' compliance with the threshold conditions set out in the Einhorn report.
About 40 corporations were awarded the license. Oz Power Ltd. nominated Mr. Alex Kidar as a candidate for CEO, and his candidacy was accepted by the authority.
Alex Kedar, who has an academic education in accounting and economics, served for several years as a financial manager in a public construction company, gaining experience through his work in the field.
Over the years, the corporation has gained momentum and grown, becoming an exemplary corporation and being designated by the authorities as an outstanding corporation.
Under the corporate system, a corporation can employ up to 1,000 foreign workers. Oz Power Ltd. is at the upper limit of 1,000 employees.
